The Conventions are coming. Summer is winding down. The elections are heating up. Schools and fall sports are starting up again. My team -- the Mets – is making its run. There is a chill in the air - at least here in DC. It’s that time of year.
But it is also that time of year where organizations like ours need to raise their last round of money to ensure that we can do our part in this critical year. I will spare you - at least for today, at least for now - the long argument on why you should support NDN. The short argument involves making the case for how hard we work, how influential we can be, how thoughtful and forward looking our papers, blog, essays and events are. In these past years, NDN has made an important and lasting contribution to the debate about our future, but we are keenly aware that our most critical work lies ahead. With your support we will have the ability to do the good work we know how to do.
